Hydraulic Design

The hydraulic design is another key element of an airport. It is essential to mitigate and reduce the impact of the proposed development as well as allow for optimal airport functionality. Since there many aircrafts on site, a water quality inlet will be implemented to ensure optimal water quality. The airport design encompassed a design for 10 year storm with a rainfall intensity of 0.78 in/hr.

The hydraulic design includes a comprehensive gutter system, rerouted channel, and water quality inlets. For a more detailed report, please see Chapter 8 of the Master Plan.
